The bank led by Carlos Hank González takes a leap forward with Bineo

Speed is palpable in Carlos Hank González‘s office. A scale model Ferrari car, three helmets belonging to Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez, whom Banorte sponsors, and a Formula 1 trophy adorn the space where the banker works in Mexico City.

This 52-year-old man, standing 6’5″ tall, lives in a constant race, in a fight in which he says he does not fear competition and in which he seeks to hold on to the lead. It is in this love for the racetrack that the president of Grupo Financiero Banorte has decided to take advantage of the first straight of 2024, apply DRS, and take the lead over his rivals with the launch of Bineo, his new digital bank.

Checkerered flThe son of businessman Carlos Hank Rhon and Graciela González Moreno is proud to show the national financial system the new platform with which he will offer his customers another type of service, but also to reach out to those millions who today do not enjoy the benefits of banking.

“With Bineo, we seek to meet all the needs that the market may have so that customers can carry out any banking transaction wherever, however, and whenever they want. With this platform, they are the center of everything,” he says.

The arrival and rapid growth of other financial apps in the country are not a problem for the entrepreneur. “Today we are combining something that no other app can claim to have: more than 120 years of being part of banking in Mexico, which is Banorte.”
