The son of the late politician Carlos Hank González has investments in construction, tourism, and energy. He earned almost $500 million in 2017 when he sold his Grupo Financiero Interacciones to Grupo Banorte.

He is currently the president of Grupo Hermes, one of the main players in the infrastructure sector with more than 30 years of history in the development, administration, and operation of roads, water, drainage, and sanitation projects, building and urbanization, energy and port infrastructure, and tourism.
